Your booking sits at one of twelve statuses, shown on your event and on the **Progress** tab.

## The normal path

## Where it can stop

| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Declined by DJ** | They can't take the booking. No further action possible |
| **Offer Rejected** | You turned down their terms. Message them for a revised offer |
| **Expired** | You didn't respond before the proposal's expiry date. Ask for a new one |
| **Event Dropped** | The booking was ended before payment. No charges applied |
| **Event Canceled** | You cancelled a confirmed event after the cancellation window closed |

## The two that need you

**Review Offer.** Proposals expire. Miss the date and you'll need a new one, by which point the DJ may be booked.

**Payment Due.** Your date is not held. The DJ can take another booking for it until your payment clears. This is the status not to sit on.

## Two more dates worth tracking

Neither shows as a status, and both cost money:

**Your cancellation deadline** — the last day you can cancel for a full refund, set out in your proposal terms.

**Your balance due date** — on a deposit booking, 7 days before the event. Miss it and the event is canceled and the deposit forfeited.

## Your event has its own status

Separately from proposals, the event itself shows as **Draft**, **Active**, **Confirmed**, or **Archived**. An **Active** event is one you can still send to more DJs. **Confirmed** means you've booked someone.

## What your DJ sees

The same booking, labelled for their side. Your **Awaiting Offer** is their **Create Offer**. Your **Review Offer** is their **Offer Sent**. Your **Payment Due** is their **Awaiting Payment**. Your **Leave Review** is their **Event Complete**.

## Where to find it

**Events** in your dashboard has a status filter. Open an event to see its proposals, and open a proposal for the **Progress** tab, which explains the current state and offers the actions available.
