Password settings are under **Settings → Account**, in the **Security** section.

## Changing it

1. Go to **Settings → Account → Security**.
2. Select **Change** next to **Password**.
3. Enter your **Current Password**.
4. Enter and confirm the new one.
5. Select **Change**.

## The requirements

- Longer than 10 characters
- A capital letter
- A number
- A symbol or other non-alphanumeric character

## Signing in

You can sign in with your email and password, or use Google or Facebook. Press **Enter** after filling in your email and password to sign in.

The sign-in form explains what is missing or incorrect. Check the message, then try again.

If two-step verification is on, enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app after signing in — including when you use Google or Facebook. See [Setting Up Two-Step Verification](/hc/clients/articles/setting-up-two-step-verification).

## If you've forgotten it

**Forgot your password?** on the login screen sends a reset link to your account email. Check spam if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

## If you've lost access to your email

The reset link goes there, so this needs help. Contact **support@djfindr.com** — you'll need to confirm who you are.

Worth avoiding by keeping your email current, especially with an event coming up. See [Updating Your Name, Email, Phone, and Birthdate](/hc/clients/articles/password-reset-and-login-help-clients).

## Other ways in

You can link a Google or Facebook account and sign in with that instead — no password needed. See [Linking Facebook or Google Sign-In](/hc/clients/articles/1786146268-linking-google-or-sound_cloud-sign_in).

## If you're told your account is deactivated

You'll be asked to contact support. Email **support@djfindr.com** from the account address. See [Deactivating Your Account](/hc/clients/articles/deleting-your-client-account).

## Why it's worth protecting

Your account holds your event details, your signed documents, your receipts, and your conversations with DJs. If you have an upcoming booking, it's also where you pay your remaining balance.

- Use a password you don't use elsewhere
- Change it if you think it's been seen
- Turn on two-step verification for extra protection

## We'll never ask for it

Not in a message, an email, or a support conversation. If someone claiming to be DJfindr asks for your password, report it.
