A DJ sees enough to work with you on your event, and no more.

## When you message them

Your first name and profile picture, plus whether you're currently online and when you were last active.

## When you send a booking request

Everything you entered on the form, because it's what they need to quote:

- **Occasion** and **Event Name**
- **Date & Time** and timezone
- **Location** — the venue address
- **Event Extras** you flagged
- **Comments** — your note to them

Plus your first name.

## When you book them

Once you complete documents, the DJ has what those documents record — your name, your email, the date, and your IP address for the completion audit trail. That's a two-way record: it's the same evidence that protects you if they later dispute what was agreed.

They also see your payment status. Which payments are paid, due, or failed — not how you paid.

## What they never see

**Your card details.** Payment goes through our processing. The screen says so: *Payment details are processed securely by DJfindr and are never visible to the DJ.*

**Your password**, obviously.

**Your identity verification documents**, if you completed it. They see nothing of that.

**Your other bookings.** A DJ can't see who else you've approached, what they quoted, or which one you chose.

**Your home address**, unless you gave it as the venue.

## Your phone number

Not shared automatically. Most people swap numbers with their DJ ahead of the day, which is sensible for the event itself — a call beats a message neither of you is checking. That's your choice, in the conversation.

## Your review

Public. It shows your first name, your profile picture, the star rating, the occasion, and what you wrote. Your contact details are never shown. See [Leaving a Review](/hc/clients/articles/1786047502-leaving-a-review).

## Privacy settings

There are no visibility toggles on a client account. What's above is the whole picture — you control what a DJ knows mainly by what you put in your messages and your event details.

## Deleting your data

Deactivating suspends access rather than erasing data. For removal, email **support@djfindr.com**. Some records tied to completed events and payments are kept where we're required to. See [Deactivating Your Account](/hc/clients/articles/deleting-your-client-account).
