Documents are the agreements attached to your booking — cancellation terms, venue access, equipment, and anything else the DJ has included. You complete them from the **Documents** tab of your event.

## Completing one

1. Open the **Documents** tab.
2. Select a document to open it.
3. Read it.
4. Complete it in the way it asks.
5. Select **Complete**.

## The three acceptance types

| Type | What you do |

| **Signature** | Draw your signature in the box. **Clear Signature** starts over |
| **Checkbox** | Tick the box confirming you've read and accept it |
| **View** | Open it and mark it as read |

Each carries a line confirming you're the client for this event and that you've read and accept the contents. Signature and checkbox documents can't be completed without doing that step — you'll be prompted if you try.

## Document statuses

## Read them, genuinely

These are the terms of your booking. The cancellation and refund document in particular sets out the deadline for cancelling and what happens after it — that's real money.

If something in a document doesn't match what you agreed in messages, raise it **before** completing. Once completed, it's a record.

## What gets recorded

On completion we capture the date, your name and email, your IP address, and your signature if there was one. A PDF of the completed document is generated for both of you.

This protects both sides. If the DJ later disputes something the document covers, there's a timestamped record of exactly what was agreed.

## Keeping copies

Every document has a download icon, and the completed version is available afterwards from the same tab. Worth saving the cancellation policy somewhere you'll find it.

## If you have questions

Message the DJ before completing. Once done, you've agreed to it.

## Do you have to?

Documents marked **Action Required** need completing for the booking to proceed. If you're not comfortable with a term, that's a conversation to have with the DJ, who can revise the proposal — not something to skip.
