After your event finishes, the status moves to **Event Complete** on its own. You don't need to confirm anything.

## What you'll see

The **Progress** tab shows **Event complete** — *The event has wrapped up! We've already requested a review on your behalf.* There's a **Throw Confetti** button, which does exactly what it says.

A review form appears on the same screen.

## What happens automatically

- Your event is archived
- The DJ's completed event count goes up
- We request a review from you
- The DJ is released from the booking

## What's left for you

**Leave a review**, if you want to. It's the one thing only you can do. Reviews on DJfindr come only from clients who booked and completed a real event here, which is what makes them worth reading — and worth writing. See [Leaving a Review](/hc/clients/articles/1786047502-leaving-a-review).

**Save your documents**, if you haven't. They stay in your account, but downloading the proposal and any signed documents takes a minute. See [Downloading Documents and Your Proposal](/hc/clients/articles/downloading-documents-and-proposal-details).

## Payments

By completion, everything should be settled — the full amount, or the deposit and remaining balance. Check the **Payments** tab if you're unsure. **Amount Paid** and **Remaining Balance** in the overview panel are the quickest answer.

Any extension you paid for on the night appears here too, as its own payment.

## If something was wrong

Completion is automatic and doesn't mean everything went well. If it didn't, you can still report it and still ask for help. ## Booking them again

Message them directly from **Inbox** — the conversation is still there. Or send a fresh request from their profile with your new date.

## Your records

Completed events stay in your account under **Events**, with the proposal, documents, payments, and the full conversation. Useful the next time you're planning something and want to remember what you paid and who did it well.
