Managing Your Events as a Client
Once you've booked a DJ on DJfindr, your event is tracked in your account so you can monitor its status, communicate
with the DJ, and handle any changes.
Viewing Your Events
Log into your DJfindr account and navigate to My Events. You'll see a list of all your event bookings across all
statuses.
Event Statuses (Client View)

Messaging Your DJ
From any event, click Message to open the conversation in your Inbox. Use this to:
- Share updated venue details
- Ask questions before the event
- Coordinate arrival time or setup logistics
Requesting an Extension
If your party is going great and you want the DJ to stay longer:
1. Open your active event.
2. Click Request Extension.
3. Specify the additional time needed.
4. The DJ approves and you pay the overage rate for the extra time.
Canceling a Booking
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking:
1. Open the event and click Cancel Event.
2. Review the DJ's cancellation policy (shown on the original proposal).
3. Confirm the cancellation.
4. If you are within the eligible cancellation window, a refund is processed per the policy.
Note: Cancellation refund eligibility depends entirely on the DJ's stated cancellation policy from their proposal.
DJfindr cannot override individual DJ cancellation policies.
