Secure Payments for Clients
All payments on DJfindr are processed by Stripe — the same payment infrastructure trusted by Amazon, Shopify, and
millions of other businesses worldwide. DJfindr never stores your credit card details.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit & Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Apple Pay — Pay directly from Safari or the iOS app with Face ID / Touch ID
- Google Pay — Pay on Android or Chrome with fingerprint or PIN
How Payment Works
When you accept a DJ's Event Proposal, you are directed to a Stripe-hosted payment form:
1. Select your payment method.
2. Enter your card details (or authenticate with Apple/Google Pay).
3. Review the total amount and click Confirm Payment.
4. Stripe processes the charge and returns a confirmation.
5. Your booking is confirmed instantly.
Deposit vs. Full Payment
Depending on the DJ's chosen payment structure:
- Full Upfront: Your card is charged the entire amount immediately.
- Deposit + Balance: You pay the deposit amount now. The remaining balance is automatically charged by Stripe at the
agreed date before the event.
You will receive an email receipt from Stripe for every charge.

Receipts & Refunds
- You receive an email receipt from Stripe immediately after each charge.
- If a booking is canceled and you are entitled to a refund per the DJ's cancellation policy, the refund is processed
back to your original payment method by Stripe. Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days.
Security
DJfindr uses Stripe's latest security standards:
- PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliance — The highest level of payment data security.
- 3D Secure Authentication — Added fraud protection for certain transactions.
- End-to-end encryption — All payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Never share your payment information outside of DJfindr's secure Stripe-powered checkout. DJfindr will never ask for
your card details via chat or email.
