Once your event is complete, we ask you for a review. It's optional, and it's the main way other clients judge a DJ.
How to leave one
The review form appears on the Progress tab of your completed event.
- Select a star rating from 1 to 5.
- Write your review in the box — Share your experience working with...
- Select Submit Review.
You can also get there from Reviews in your dashboard, where anything outstanding sits under Pending.
Reviews can't be edited or deleted
Worth knowing before you submit. There's no edit button and no delete. Take a moment before posting, particularly if you're writing while annoyed.
If you submit something you regret, contact [email protected] — we can't promise a change, but we'd rather know.
Writing one that helps
The reviews people actually find useful are specific. Consider:
- Did they read the room? The most important thing a DJ does, and the hardest to judge from a mix
- Communication — before the day and on it
- Punctuality and setup
- Whether they delivered what was agreed — the extras, the hours, the equipment
- What kind of event it was, so the next reader knows whether it's like theirs
"Great DJ, highly recommend" is kind and tells nobody anything. "Kept a mixed-age wedding crowd on the floor from 8 till midnight, and handled the speeches running 40 minutes late without a wobble" is the review someone books on.
Being fair
If something went wrong, say so — that's what reviews are for. It's worth separating what the DJ controlled from what they didn't. A venue's noise curfew or a delayed dinner isn't theirs.

Who can see it
Your review appears publicly on the DJ's profile with your first name, your profile picture, and the occasion. Your contact details are never shown.
Why yours matters
Only clients who booked and completed an event through DJfindr can review. Your five minutes is the thing that lets the next person choose confidently.
