On a booking, you'll be told the event is eligible for GigGuard.
What it signals
It's about service standards and reliability rather than musical skill. It's associated with our top subscription tier and isn't something a DJ can simply switch on.
For a client, it speaks to the worry that a mix can't address: will this person actually turn up, communicate properly, and do what they said?
How it differs from the other badges

How much weight to give it
Useful as a tiebreaker between two DJs who look similar. Not a substitute for the things that actually predict a good event:
- Reviews from clients who completed real bookings here
- Mixes — whether they sound right for your crowd
- Completed events — a track record
- How they answer your first message
A DJ without the badge isn't unreliable. Plenty of excellent DJs are on lower plans.
What protects every booking
