After signing up there's a short onboarding dialog. Three steps, a couple of minutes.
Step 1 — Verify your email
We send a verification link to the address you signed up with. Open it to continue.
If it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder. There's a resend link on the screen.
This step exists because your email is where everything about your booking arrives — proposals, payment reminders, and messages from your DJ. Confirming it works now prevents a missed reminder later.
Step 2 — Personal Information
Four fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Date of Birth
Why each one
Your name appears on proposals and on the documents you sign, so it needs to be your real name — those documents are the record of your agreement.
Your phone number is used for notifications if you enable SMS. Worth having accurate — an SMS about a payment due reaches you when an email doesn't.
Your date of birth confirms you meet the minimum age to book.
Step 3 — All set
A confirmation screen. Select Complete and you're into your dashboard.
Can you skip it?
Onboarding is what moves your account to active. Until it's done, you'll keep landing back in it.
Changing these later
All of it is editable from Settings → Account. See Updating Your Name, Email, Phone, and Birthdate.
What DJs see
Not all of it. A DJ you book sees your first name and enough to work with you on the event. See What Your DJ Can See About You.
