If a DJ, a message, or a profile breaks our rules, report it. It's how we act on it.
When to report
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
- Pressure to pay outside DJfindr, or to cancel a booking and pay directly
- A profile using someone else's photos, mixes, or identity
- A DJ who didn't turn up or didn't deliver what was agreed
- Offensive content on a profile or post
- Anything that felt unsafe at your event
From a conversation
Open the conversation in Inbox and use the Report action. Best for anything said in messages — we can see the thread.
From a profile
Open the DJ's profile, use the ... menu, and select Report. Best for the profile content itself.
Through support
Go to Help and choose Report Abuse. Be specific about where it happened. These are treated as urgent.
The Report Abuse form
Linked in the footer of any page, and useful when you're not logged in. It asks for your Full Name and Email, the Entity involved, the Abuse URL, and an Explanation.
The URL is the most important field. A report naming a page gets acted on; one saying "a DJ scammed me" with nothing to identify them usually can't be.
What to include
- The DJ's name or profile link
- Your Event Proposal ID if there's a booking involved
- Dates and times
- What was said or done, quoted where you can
- Screenshots, especially of anything that happened off-platform
Keep it on DJfindr while it's happening
If a DJ starts pushing you to text or pay directly, keep replying inside DJfindr. Moving the conversation loses the record — and the record is what lets us act.

What happens next
We review the report and act on the account where warranted. Accounts accumulate strikes for breaking the rules, and enough of them restricts the account. We don't share the outcome of a report about another user.
If money is involved
Report it, and contact [email protected] with your Event Proposal ID and Payment ID. Payments made through DJfindr have a record we can work from. Money you sent a DJ directly, outside the platform, is much harder for anyone to help with.
