You've found an event you want to go to. Here's what to check on the page before you turn up.

The essentials

Date and time, and check the timezone if you're travelling.

LOCATION — the venue, with a link to open it in maps.

About — the description. Where the DJ says who else is playing, what the night is, and anything you need to know.

Entry restrictions

Every event can carry one, and it's the thing most worth reading:

What it says What it means
All Ages Everyone welcome
Ages 18+ Over-18s only
Ages 21+ Over-21s only
Private / Invite Only Not open to the public
Other Something specific — the description explains it

If it says Other, read the description. That's where a guest list process, a dress code, or a members-only rule will be spelled out.

Bring ID for anything age-restricted. Venues enforce this, not the DJ.

Tickets

Get Tickets takes you to wherever the DJ sells them. Starting from a price means there may be tiers, so the final cost can be higher than the figure shown. FREE means no ticket needed — though free entry can still have a guest list, so check the description.

Tickets aren't handled by DJfindr

We don't sell them or take the payment. Your ticket, your receipt, and any refund are all with whoever the ticket link points to. If an event is canceled, refunds come from them.

So keep the confirmation email from the ticket seller — that's your proof of purchase, not anything on DJfindr.

If something's unclear

Message on the event page reaches the DJ directly. Fair game for asking what time they're on, whether there's parking, or whether a guest list exists.

If the event disappears

Events can be canceled or archived, which takes the page down. If you'd bought a ticket, contact the ticket seller — that's where the money went.

It's worth checking the page again a day or two before, particularly for anything you're travelling to.

Booking that DJ yourself

If you enjoy the night, their profile is one tap away from the event page. See Sending a Booking Request.
