DJfindr is where you find a DJ, agree terms, and pay — with the agreement written down and the money handled properly.
What it does
Finds you DJs who actually cover your event. Search by location, occasion, genre, budget, and the extras you need. Every DJ sets the areas they travel to and the events they play, so results are people who can genuinely do your event.
Lets you judge before you commit. Listen to their mixes, watch an intro video, read reviews from clients who completed real events, and see their rates and policies before you message anyone. If a DJ has live events coming up, you can even go and watch them work a room first.
Turns a conversation into a written agreement. You send a request, the DJ sends an itemised proposal with a price breakdown, an expiry date, and a cancellation deadline. You sign the documents in the app.
Handles the money. You pay by card or digital wallet. The DJ never sees your card details. There's a receipt for every payment.
Why that matters
Hiring a DJ privately usually means a conversation, a verbal price, and a bank transfer. That's fine until the DJ doesn't turn up, or the price changes, or the lighting you agreed doesn't appear.
On DJfindr you have a proposal stating exactly what was agreed, documents you both signed, a payment record, and somewhere to take it if something goes wrong. Which is why the warning on every DJ's profile — never communicate or complete payments outside of the DJfindr website — is worth taking seriously.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. You pay what the proposal says. There's no booking fee added at checkout, and searching, browsing, and messaging are free.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't choose for you. No DJ is vetted for talent. Badges tell you a DJ verified their identity or pays for our top plan — not that they're good. Your judgement comes from their mixes and reviews.
It doesn't set prices. Each DJ sets their own rate, cancellation terms, and travel cost.
