Your event is over and something still needs sorting. Here's where to take it.
Start with the DJ
For most things, message them first. The conversation is still open in Inbox.
Worth raising directly:
- An extra you paid for that didn't materialise
- Hours that don't match what you were charged
- A partial refund you think is fair
- Property left behind or taken by mistake
Many DJs will resolve these without escalation. It's faster than any other route.
Then support
Go to Help in your dashboard. Three options:
- Chat with us — live chat, fastest
- [email protected] — best when you need to attach things
- Help & Guides — this help centre
Which request type
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Request Help | Something needs resolving — payments, refunds, records |
| Report Misuse | The DJ broke the rules — no-show, abuse, pressure to pay off-platform |
Both are treated as urgent. Use Report Misuse for conduct and Request Help for everything else.
What to include
- Your Event Proposal ID, and the Payment ID if it's about money
- The event date
- What was agreed, and what happened instead
- What you'd like to happen
- Screenshots or receipts
The first two are the ones people leave out, and they're what we need before anything can move.
Refunds after the event
Refunds after an event has happened aren't automatic — the service was delivered, and your proposal terms and completed documents are what govern it. If you believe those terms weren't honoured, say which term and how. See Refund Statuses and Timing.
Your records
Everything stays in your account: the proposal, documents, payments, receipts, and the full conversation. Find them under Events.
Your review
Separate from support and worth doing either way. A specific, fair review is a permanent record and helps the next client. See Leaving a Review.
Timing
Raise things while they're fresh. Payment records and conversations don't disappear, but a report a month later is harder to resolve than one the same week.
