Most of DJfindr is open without an account. Two things aren't.

- Viewing any DJ's full profile
- Playing their mixes and watching intro reels
- Reading reviews
- Browsing posts and the Discover feed
- Browsing by occasion, genre, or extra
So you can do all your research, compare DJs properly, and build a shortlist before signing up for anything.
What needs an account
Sending a booking request. You'll see Requesting an event requires an account.
Messaging a DJ. You'll see Create an account to message DJs.
Both make sense — a DJ needs to know who's asking, and you need somewhere for their reply to arrive.
Signing up
Quick: a first name, an email, and a password. Or continue with Google or Facebook. See Creating Your Client Account.
You can sign up at the moment you try to send a request, without losing what you'd filled in.
What the account gives you
- Your events and every proposal in one place
- Conversations with DJs
- Your documents and receipts
- Payment tracking, including when a balance falls due
- Notifications when a proposal arrives or a payment is due
- The ability to leave a review afterwards
Paying without an account
One exception: if a DJ sends you a PayLink, you can pay it without signing up. That's for one-off payments rather than bookings — see Paying Through a PayLink.
Is it worth it if you only book once?
Yes, for one reason. The account is where your proposal, your signed cancellation terms, and your receipts live. If the booking goes wrong, those are what you'd need. A booking arranged entirely by message leaves you nothing to point at.
