Every booking moves along a progress bar with six milestones. Find it on the Progress tab of your event.
Request → Offer → Payment → Confirmed → Event → Complete
What each stage means
Request — you've sent your booking request. The DJ is deciding whether to take it.
Offer — the DJ accepted and is preparing your proposal, or has sent it. When it arrives your status reads Review Offer.
Payment — you've accepted the proposal and payment is due. Your status reads Payment Due. Nothing is held for you until you pay.
Confirmed — payment received. Your date is locked on the DJ's calendar.
Event — the day itself. The status flips to Event In Progress automatically.
Complete — it's over, and we've asked you for a review.
When it needs you
Two stages, and both matter:
Review Offer. The proposal has an expiry date. Let it pass and you'll need to ask for a new one, by which time your date may be gone.
Payment Due. Your booking isn't confirmed until payment clears, and the DJ is free to take another booking for that date in the meantime.
Everything else is either the DJ's turn or automatic.
On a deposit booking
There's one more moment after Confirmed. Your remaining balance falls due 7 days before the event, and a Heads up... notice on your confirmed event states the exact date. If it isn't paid by then the event is canceled and your deposit is forfeited. See When Your Remaining Balance Is Due.
Where to find your events
Events in your dashboard lists everything, with a status filter and a search box. Open one to see its proposals and drill into any of them.
Endings that aren't Complete
A booking can also end at Declined by DJ, Expired, Event Dropped, or Event Canceled. Each explains itself on the Progress tab and offers what you can do next. See Every Event Status, Explained.
The other tabs
Progress tells you where things stand. Event Details, Proposal, Documents, Payments, and Conversation hold the substance. See The Six Tabs on Your Proposal.
