The five request types
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Request Help | Something isn't working, or you're stuck. What can we help you with? |
| Report Misuse | A DJ or another user broke the rules |
| Report Bug | Something in the app is behaving incorrectly |
| Request Feature | Something you'd like DJfindr to do |
| Submit Feedback | Thoughts on how something could be better |
Request Help and Report Misuse are urgent. Bugs come next. Feature requests and feedback are read but not answered on the same clock — so if you're genuinely stuck, use Request Help even if a bug is the cause.
What to include
Most requests come back asking for the same things. Including them upfront usually saves a day:
- Your Event Proposal ID or Payment ID — both copyable from their screens
- Your event date
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead, with any exact error message
- A screenshot if it's visual
What we'll never ask for
Your card number, your bank details, or your password. If someone claiming to be DJfindr asks for any of them, report it.
Things you can settle faster yourself
- Payment declined — check the reason shown. See What to Do if a Payment Fails
- When is my balance due? — 7 days before your event, on a deposit booking. The date is on your confirmed event
- Can I still cancel for a refund? — the deadline is in your proposal under Cancellation Policy
- Where's my receipt? — Payments tab, expand the payment, View Receipt
- Something about the event itself — message your DJ. Faster than us for anything they control
Account questions
Anything about your own account needs to come from the email address on it. We can't discuss an account with someone we can't identify.
